Eastern Institute of technology offers Diploma in Cookery at Advanced Level after Patisserie Strand Level 5 in which the students acquire practical skills with which they create fine pastry dishes and patisserie.

This is full-time 2 years programme in which you study Level 4 – NZ Certificate in Cookery and/or NZ Certificate in Baking (Generalist) [Level 4] in your first year and then Level 5 – NZ Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) – Patisserie Strand in the second year.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Academic

    The students who’ve completed their 10+2 may apply for NZ Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) – Patisserie Strand Level 5 at EIT.

    English Proficiency Score

    1. IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0
    2. TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) score of 530 (with an essay score of 4.5 TWE)
    3. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) score of 46 (with a writing score of 20)
    4. Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 42
