Living together Eligibility condition for partner of a worker work visa for New Zealand

Applicants can apply partnership based work visa for New Zealand after the couple has lived together for a certain period of time.   Living together in a genuine and a stable relationship is one of the very important eligibility requirements for dependent spouse/ partnership visas for New Zealand

The first condition is that you must be in a genuine and stable relationship with your spouse. As these visas are largely based on your relationship with your spouse, the case officer must be satisfied that your relationship is genuine and it is a stable relationship.

The second very important requirement for dependent spouse visa is that you must be living together in a stable relationship. The case officer must be satisfied that you have spent considerable amount of living together as a husband and wife.

Wage conditions for Accredited Employer Work Visa holder- AEWV

If you hold an AEWV then in order to support work visa for your dependent spouse for New Zealand you must fulfil the following conditions along with living together condition

You must be paid the minimum wage rate. The current minimum wage rate for New Zeeland is NZD 29.66 an hour

The wage threshold when you applied for your AEWV.
