Requirements for UK student visa
Course of study in UK requirement
This is the first and foremost requirements the applicants need to meet. International students must have an offer of a place with no conditions attached to the offer letter. Furthermore this offer letter must be from a licensed student sponsor for UK. If your university or college is not licensed student sponsor then your offer letter may not meet the requirements for UK student visa.
Confirmation of acceptance for studies- CAS letter for UK study visa
This is another requirement international applicants must meet. You must have a CAS number to apply for your UK study visa. Your university would provide you with this once you have paid some or complete fee for your program of study. It is mandatory to fill your CAS reference number in your application for student visa to UK. International students looking forward to study in UK must also take care that they must apply for their visa within 6 months of receiving Confirmation of acceptance for studies- CAS letter as after 6 months this CAS reference number would become invalid
Amount Funds for UK study visa
This is another one of the requirements for UK student visa which international applicants must meet. Along with paying for their course for at least one academic year international applicants must have enough funds for UK student visa. The amount of the funds required depends on the location of your course of study. If the length of your course is 9 months or more than 9 months then you need to have £1,334 per month for 9 months if your course of study in UK is in London. If the length of your course in 9 months or more than 9 months then you need to have £1,023 per month for nine months if your course of study in UK is outside of London.

IELTS requirement for UK study visa

If you are studying at degree level or above that is a Bachelors degree or a Masters course in UK then you must have a English language ability equivalent to level B2 of CERF scale that is Common European framework of Reference for language scale. This may be IELTS overall 6 for Bachelors courses and IELTS overall 6.5 for Masters Courses.
Tuberculosis test results
As a part of the student visa UK application process international students may also be required to provide their Tuberculosis test results if they are on the list of the countries required to provide TB test. This is a requirement if you are visiting UK for more than 6 months. If you are an applicant from Indian and is applying for Visa for a course of 6 months or more then this requirements would be applicable on you. As your course of study would be at least 1 years this may be applicable for you.
UK student visa fees
As a part of the application process international students are required to pay a visa application fee. This amount currently is £348 if the visa application is made outside of the UK
