Description:

This degree gives you an opportunity to establish your career in civil designing and development of the infrastructure. ARA offers 3 years degree made of core courses with the elective ones. This degree focuses on the design and implementing the engineering technology with electives for specialisation in particular area of civil engineering like structural, water waste, roading , transportation, climate engineering strands.

The BEngTech (Civil) is fully accredited by Engineering New Zealand (EngNZ) and is recognised internationally under the Sydney Accord.

Eligibility Criteria:

Academic

Students who’ve completed their high secondary education in the science background may apply for the Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil).  

English Proficiency Score

  1. IELTS test – Academic score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5
  2. TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) – Score of 550 (with an essay score of 5 TWE)
  3. TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) – Score of 60 or higher (with a writing score of 18)
  4. Pearson Test of English (Academic) – PToE (Academic) score of 50
