Description:

NorthTec offers comprehensive programme which gives both theoretical and clinical experience to the students who want to be graduated as nurses. The online learning classes are blended with teaching in classroom and the graduates are made eligible for the Nursing Council of NZ register of Nurses. NorthTec produces nurses with full competence so they’re able to practice at beginning level in a variety of clinics.

Graduates of this programme will be able to:

  • Assess all the health needs
  • Support and give advice to people to manage their health
  • Practice nursing both independently and in collaboration with other health professionals
  • Perform general nursing functions and delegate to and direct Enrolled Nurses
  • Develop, implement and evaluate an integrated plan of health care, in a range of settings and in partnership with individuals, families and communities
  • Demonstrate attributes of a reflective practitioner
  • Understand the importance of self-care and on-going professional development

    All applicants with secondary and/or even with higher education may apply for the Bachelors in Nursing at NorthTec.

    English Proficiency Score:

    1. Overall IELTS score of 6.5 with not less than 6.5 in each.
