Congratulation to all the Canada visa seekers! According to VFS Global, Canada is all set to partially resume its visa issuance services in India and will be accepting biometric enrolments soon for few categories. According to VFS Global, visa applicants who had submitted online applications for family class priority –spouses, partners, and children category can begin biometric enrolment from November 25th.
For Canada, visa seekers who submitted applications for student category or family class priority can expect to enroll for biometrics beginning 2nd December at Canada visa application centers in Delhi, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru.
Further, those who had submitted their Canada visa applications already would receive a biometric instruction letter from IRCC to enroll in biometrics. This letter has to be carried for a biometric appointment. You would have to make a prior appointment at your nearby visa application centers. You could begin the appointment from November 20th on the online platform of VFS global. For other categories except for students and FCP the VFS is yet to begin the biometric enrollments. So it is advised to wait. For other cities, VFS quoted –Appointments will be available online for the remaining cities from November 25th, 2020.
