Description:
The NZ Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) – Cookery Strand – [Level 5] is pathway to an advanced level of Cookery that is designed by using the modern techniques and methods with various projects locally and globally. This is full 2 year programme consisting of Level 4 – NZ Certificate in Cookery in Year 1 and Level 5 – NZ Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) – Cookery Strand in Year2.
Industry Based Training
During the year all students will work on rostered lunch or dinner productions, mid-week, in fully licensed training restaurants on site as part of routine classes. Students will complete industry placement courses as part of the diploma programme.

The students who’ve completed their 10+2 may apply for NZ Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) – Cookery Strand Level 5 at EIT.
English Proficiency Score
- IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0
- TOEFL Paper-based test (pBT) score of 530 (with an essay score of 4.5 TWE)
- TOEFL Internet-based test (iBT) score of 46 (with a writing score of 20)
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 42
