Difference between Post study work visa for green list courses and other courses
There are two major differences which the applicants must be aware of.
Duration of PSW for New Zealand
The first one is regarding that duration of the course. if the course is in the green list then that duration of the post study work visa would be equal to the duration of the course. if the course is a bachelor’s degree Masters degree or a PhD program post study work visa is 3 years.
PSW with conditions or open work visa
The second major difference is regarding the conditions. For green list courses there are certain conditions on the post study work visa. if you get a PSW work visa after completing a Green list course then you can only work in a job designation as specified in the list by immigration. On the other hand you may work in any job role after you get a post study work visa after doing a Bachelor’s Degree, a master’s degree or a PhD program There is no restriction on the job role you may work.
So this is the major difference in terms of duration and condition for the non-degree under level 7 courses in green list and for other courses which are not in green list but are eligible for a posted work visa
