Description:

AIS offers Bachelor of Hospitality Management for the students who want to work at managerial roles in the hospitality sector. This includes courses related to marketing, management and economics. The students will acquire skills which they’ll be implementing in wide areas of hospitality operations. Also offers first-hand industry experience at Stage 3 level.

The degree is made of total 21 courses:

  1. Accounting Principle
  2. Principles of Hospitality Management
  3. Food Production Operations
  4. Marketing Principles
  5. Food and Beverage Service Operations
  6. Tourism and Hospitality Business Information Systems
  7. Managing the Visitor Experience
  8. Food and Beverage Management
  9. Accommodation Management
  10. Hospitality and Tourism Strategic Management
  11. Tourism and Hospitality Management
  12. Integrated Marketing Communication
  13. Gastronomic Tourism
  14. An Integrated Approach to Hospitality Management

Any of:

  1. Financial Management or Managerial Accounting

And two elective courses selected from:

  1. Events Management
  2. Entrepreneurship and Small Business for Tourism and Hospitality
  3. Tourism and Hospitality Consumer Behaviour
  4. Hospitality Industry Practice
  5. International Food and Beverage Management
  6. Resorts and Hospitality Management

And one of:

  • Applied Hospitality Management Project
  • Hospitality Management Research Project
  •  
    And three elective courses, including at least one at Stage III, selected from Hospitality Management, Tourism Management or Business programmes.

    Career Outcomes:

    Marketing and sales, events organisation and management

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Academic

    The students who’ve completed their 10+2 may apply for the Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) at AIS.

    English Proficiency Score

    1. IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5
    2. TOEFL iBT 60 (with a writing score of 18)
    3. Pearson 50
