Description:

TRU is offering BFA degree majoring in Visual Arts which is webbed as per the curriculum of Studio and Art History or Theatre Courses. One can even go for Gallery Studies. By pursuing the degree of BFA from TRU, the students learn with interdisciplinary approach and enjoy the advantages of many facets of the university community.

Gallery studies: the students study the courses like Public Art and Gallery Management along providing the gallery infrastructures and programming from local to international level as well as understanding the economics and the impact the Art Communities have.

The students study basically at the Kamloops Art Gallery and TRU Visual Arts Gallery.

The Visual Arts Program is equipped with extensive studios for courses in the following:

  • Painting
  • Photography
  • Printmaking (etching and silkscreen
  • Sculpture

    Eligibility Criteria:

    Academic

    The students who’ve completed their 10+2 with English as their one of the major subject may pursue Bachelors of Fine Arts (Visual Arts) at TRU.

     English Proficiency Score

    1. IELTS: 6.5+ with no bands below 6.0
    2. TOEFL iBT: 88+ with no section below 20
    3. TOEFL PBT: 570+, TWE 4.5+
    4. PTE: 58+
