Description:

Once you have built a strong base, you can more specialised animation techniques. We’ll teach you how to give emotion to your characters to bring them to life, plus you’ll enhance your world building, conceptualising and narrative design skills.

In second year, we’ll up the ante on your studio projects, giving you loads of good opportunities to utilise your skills in effective way. After this you will have the power to generate professional animation projects using the industry standard production pipeline. You’ll be using drawing skills to construct models, and integrating animation with live action footage.

The more you move as an animator, you’ll find that it’s not the medium that you use, but the stories and characters that you make that define you. You’ll be able to adopt and work with any technique to tell stories.

We’ll help you discover your skills and an effective portfolio, and set you up with the core skills you need to grow in legendary Level 7 Diploma in Digital Media, a project based year-long course that will hurler you head-first into industry.

The Diploma is all about taking core and foundational skills learnt in the first year, and beginning to learn more specialised techniques.

Students have the opportunity to choose a pathway of 2D or 3D studio courses.

After completion of the course students will have the choice of exiting to enter the industry or move onto the Diploma in Digital Media.

    Eligibility criteria

    Academic eligibility:

    Student must have completed 10+2 in any stream and must have evidence of creative work.

    English language proficiency score:

    1. IELTS score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5

    SPEAKING – 5.5

    READING – 5.5

    WRITING – 5.5

    LISTENING – 5.5

    1. TOEFL Score of 60 is required with a writing score of 18
    2. PTE required score is 50
