It’s very important that you file your application carefully if you would like to increase chances of success of your New Zealand visa application. There are many factors influencing your New Zealand study visa application. Your study in New Zealand consultant must be aware of these factors:-

  • Bona fides

This is one the very crucial factors influencing your New Zealand study visa application. If you fulfill all other requirements of having sufficient funds in name of eligible sponsors for the duration of your stay in New Zealand while on student visa but if the Case Officer is not satisfied that you are a bona fide entrant whose intention is only to study in New Zealand then there are high chances that your New Zealand student visa application may be refused.

  • Sufficient funds for your tuition fee and duration of your stay in New Zealand:-

Another thing you need to fulfill is to have sufficient funds for your tuition fee and cost of living for your entire duration of the stay while on study in New Zealand.
You need to have your tuition fee and cost of living (NZD 15000) per year to support your New Zealand education visa. These funds must be old and must be consistent with your family income. If you have recent funds then you need to explain source of these funds. If you are an applicant from India then there are some sources of funds which might not be acceptable by immigration New Zealand for your New Zealand student visa application. If the duration of your course is more than one year then you may opt for payment plan to meet financial requirements for the second year of your study in New Zealand visa application.

  • Acceptable Sponsors:-

The funds to support your New Zealand student visa application must be held in the name of acceptable sponsors. If you are an applicant from India, the acceptable sponsors are your parents, grandparents, siblings, your spouse and your parents in law. If you have sponsors other than these then they are not acceptable as per student visa policy of immigration New Zealand.

  • Previous Refusals:-

This is very important to address in your New Zealand study visa application. If you have got any refusals of any country then make sure that you declare these in your visa application. Not disclosing this would negatively impact your application and raise serious concern about your intention to study in New Zealand. You need to address of all your previous refusals in your current application. Misleading immigration New Zealand or providing false information is taken very seriously by the case officer.

  • Ban and Exclusion Period:-

If you have been banned from any country or have exclusion period applicable on you then this may be a serious problem with your application.
