New Zealand Green List for Indian Students

New Zealand government recently announced on 11 May that it would fully reopen its borders by the end of July 2022. This means that students can start preparing for their New Zealand study visa applications.

Along with the announcement of Reopening New Zealand borders the government has also announced number of changes which could affect study in New Zealand aspirants.

The changes are in relation to the New Zealand post study work visa after successful completion of the program while on New Zealand student visa. Specifically these new post study work visa rules changes for New Zealand are in relation to students who undertake a non degree qualification at level 7 of New Zealand Qualification framework or below that level.  Some of the non degree qualifications in New Zealand are

  • Diplomas at level 4 and 5
  • Diplomas at level 5 and 6
  • Diploma at level 7
  • Graduate Diploma at level 7
