To apply for your Study in New Zealand visa application you need to provide supporting documents with your Student visa application. Following is the checklist along with explanation
Offer of a Place
You need to attach offer of a place with your New Zealand student visa application. In New Zealand you do not need to pay your fees while applying for student visa. You pay this once your visa is approved in Principle- AIP. So there is no need of Fee receipts as in Canada or COE as in Australia.
Academics
You need to provide your academic documents of all the qualifications you have obtained. Your documents must be in English. If not in English you need to provide translated and attested copies.
English
As a proof of your English language ability you need to provide your IELTS (Academic)/ PTE- Academic score card with your Study in New Zealand application. The score for both these tests is valid for 2 years. So your test report supporting your New Zealand student visa application must not be more than 2 years old.
Funds for tuition fee and Cost of Living
You need to provide documentary evidence of funds. You need to show that you have money for your tuition fees and cost of living for the duration of your Study in New Zealand. These funds must be in the name of acceptable sponsors and must be old. If the funds are not held for a specified period of time then you must have a source for these funds. In case the course is of more than 2 years duration then you may provide evidence of first year tuition fees and cost of living and payment plan to pay for second year.
Income proofs
You also need to attach income proofs of your sponsors along with your application. The type of documents would depend on whether your sponsor is employed- government job or a private job, is a businessman, an agriculturist.
Documentary Evidence of your relationship with the sponsors
Remember also to attach verifiable evidence of your relationship with the person who is sponsoring you for your study in New Zealand.
Statement of Purpose
Statement of purpose is an important document supporting your New Zealand student visa application. Attach with your application this document stating your purpose of why you chose to study in New Zealand in a particular college in a particular course and the career outcomes you wish you have once you successfully complete your study in New Zealand.
