You need to attach offer of a place with your New Zealand student visa application. In New Zealand you do not need to pay your fees while applying for student visa. You pay this once your visa is approved in Principle- AIP. So there is no need of Fee receipts as in Canada or COE as in Australia.

As a proof of your English language ability you need to provide your IELTS (Academic)/ PTE- Academic score card with your Study in New Zealand application. The score for both these tests is valid for 2 years. So your test report supporting your New Zealand student visa application must not be more than 2 years old.
Funds for tuition fee and Cost of Living
