Unlike the other Universities, Waikato provides with two staff members that guide the student during their research ongoing in PhD programme which can be presented either with the Publication or with a Creative Practice Component. Waikato makes sure to guide the student at every step to ensure the productivity of the research along with the authenticity. The research is done in order to write proper thesis which are to be published as proper papers which includes the case of the research conducted, outline and the conclusion. Waikato has freed this programme from any coursework.

    Academic

    The students who’ve completed their master’s degree in the related field may go for PhD to conduct research at Waikato.

    English Proficiency Score

    1. IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing)
    2. iBT (internet based) TOEFL – 90 with a score of 22 in writing
    3. PTE – 65 with no less than 58 for each communicative skill
