What are the documents you need to have when applying for Schengen Visa?
- SCHENGEN VISA APPLICATION FORM – This form is needed to be filled with the required and correct information.
- Photographs – Need to have to identical photographs taken in the time period of last three months.
- Valid Passport – It is necessary for the citizen applying from India.
- Letter of Invitation – This is very important. This is needed to be attached with that of passport.
- Roundtrip reservation or itinerary – In this one needs to include the dates and flight numbers specifications.
- Schengen Travel Insurance – A confirmation letter from your health insurance stating coverage for emergency medical treatment with a minimum of €30,000, including repatriation in case of death.
- Travel Itinerary – A detailed description of your trip, the purpose of travelling, the time you will be spending there and all your personal data.
- Funds or Means of Subsistence – You need to show that you have enough for your stay in Schengen Area this will include Bank Account Statements or Sponsorship Letter or both.
- Accommodation Proof – Address of the person who is inviting you or if you’re planning to stay in hotel then details of the hotel or rent contract.
- Proof of the family relationship
- Evidence of Employment Status
