What are the documents a student needs to attach with SDS Canada visa application?
Following are the documents which a student must attach with his Canada student visa application under SDS scheme
- Offer of a place from designated learning institute
- Receipt for one year of tuition fee
- GIC certificate of Canadian dollars 10,000
- Upfront medical
- Academic IELTS score sheet with at least 6 in each of the four modules
- All transcripts and certificates
- Letter of explanation
I have IELTS band score of 6 each of the four modules of IELTS. I have paid one semester of tuition fees. I have got my medical and GIC Certificate of CAD 10,000 Can I apply under SDS scheme based on my IELTS score of 6 each?
As per the policy under SDS Scheme international students must pay one year of tuition fee upfront. As you have paid only one semester fees your Study in Canada application will not be considered under SDS. Pay one of tuition fees upfront and attach fee receipt for the same if you like your application to be considered under SDS.
I have paid one year of tuition fee and have IELTS 6 band in each module. I have got my medical. I have funds Equivalent to CAD 10000 in my father’s account in my home country as a proof of my cost of living in Canada. Can I apply under SDS scheme?
One of the requirements of SDS program is to have a GIC Certificate of CAD 10,000. As you do not have this your application will not be considered under SDS. Attach GIC certificate of CAD 10,000 to be considered under SDS.
