COURSEWORK:

MA by Coursework generally requires 1 year or 3 semesters of full study to get it completed plus a dissertation is required. Dissertation is most important part of this program which is a research done under supervision which has to be upto 20,000 words on the topic of their current interest.

In this the main of the coursework is to get candidates loaded grounded knowledge of their chosen discipline within wider frame of discipline.

THESIS:

This just requires 1 year for completing the studies with a completion of thesis. In this, Thesis is important written after completing the supervised research of 40,000 words.

The main aim is develop skills in the students regarding their topic of research and is able to implement it further in future and is acceptable currently.

    The students who’ve completed their Bachelors (in Arts) are eligible to apply for Master of Arts (MA)  in Education at University of Otago.

    English Proficiency Score

    1. IELTS score of 6.5 not less than 6.0
    2. TOEFL Score (iBT) – 95 with a minimum writing score of 22

    TOEFL Score (pBT) – 587 (TWE 4.5); Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) – Minimum score of 176

    1. PTE Academic – Overall score of 64 with no communicative skills score below 57
