Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Courses in Australia

Like all other countries, Australia also has a few entry requirements to make international students eligible to study in Australia.

Admission requirements for undergraduate courses in Australia for study abroad aspirants –

Certificate, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas

For these courses, the international students should have completed senior secondary or as per the individual course requirements that are mentioned on the institutions website. Along with this, there is language ability requirement which requires students to have earned a minimum of 5.5 Band in IELTS exam or 55 overall score in TOEFL or 42-49 score in PTE. This test is required to be not older than two years on initiation of course of study in Australia.

Bachelor’s course

For Bachelor’s course, the international students must have completed senior secondary education from an accredited board or qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 Certificate. To fulfil the English language ability requirement, the students are required to attain a minimum of overall 6 Band with no Band less than 6 in IELTS exam or 67 overall score in TOEFL or 50-57 score in PTE.

Some specialised courses might require some pre-requisite subjects. There might also be a demand by the institution to submit a document that specifies your intention to undertake the course, i.e. Letter of Intent.
