The scholarship programme helps to attract highly qualified doctoral students. The value of this scholarship is $50,000 per year for three consecutive years during Doctoral Studies. Eligibility Criteria: Students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada, and foreign citizens are eligible in research areas like social sciences and humanities, natural sciences or engineering, and social sciences and humanities. These are some important research areas in which students can be granted scholarships. You must be nominated by any Canadian institution, and the college must have a Vanier CGS Quota. The scholarship aspirant should be pursuing his first doctoral degree. The student must have completed no more than 20 months of full-time study in his doctoral programme and 32 months of full-time study in his joint doctoral programme. Your chosen programme of study must include a significant research component that leads to the completion of a dissertation, research project, scholarly publication, performance, and thesis. Joint research graduate programmes are also eligible if they have a significant autonomous research component.

Canadian Government Scholarships are fully funded scholarships for international students that cover all academic disciplines. The scholarship enables all the students selected to study free of charge in Canada. The students can pursue a master’s degree programme with this scholarship. The Canadian Scholarship Programme was launched by Global Affairs Canada, which will offer scholarships for two years that lead to the Post-Secondary Level that leads to a Diploma, Post-Secondary or Post Graduate Certificate, and Master’s degree at a college, vocational or technical school, or any university in Canada.
