Data science has emerged as a new profession respective to the career in ‘big data’. A data scientist shows the future trends from past to the current data which is  an important skill to collect data related to education to commerce, communication to transport.This postgraduate diploma builds  student’s data science capabilities and combine these with the skills and knowledge from previous studies. This is one of the programmes in enhance the development of students from a wider undergraduate background.

The degree compromises a minimum of 120 points:

  • Up to 45 points – Foundation Courses
  • All courses from Group A: Advanced Data Science Competencies
  • At least 15 points from Group B: Domain Specific Competencies.

    Entry criteria;

    Academic:

    Any student who has completed his/her Bachelor’s.

    English Proficiency Score:

    1. IELTS academic with an average score of 6.5not less than 6.0 in reading, writing, listening and speaking
    2. TOEFL (iBT) total minimum score of 90, minimum score of 19 in reading, writing and listening
    3. TOEFL PBT with a minimum score of 575 and TWE with a minimum score of 4.5
    4. Pearson Test of English (Academic) – PTE with an overall score of 58 and no PTE communicative skills score below 50.
